Continuous Scanning (CS) Smart Antenna technology is crucial to any passive Real-Time Location System (RTLS). Offering an impressive location accuracy of 30 cm (1 ft), our smart antennas are ideal for high ceilings and wide areas, e.g. dock doors, aisles and racking, or production and staging lines.
What’s more, they are remarkably cost-effective thanks to the minimal upkeep required and the low-cost, long-lasting, battery-free tags used in RTLS.
Specifications
Two of our most popular antennas are the CS-445B and the CS-490, both from RF Controls. The CS-445B is ideal for ceilings up to 9.1 metres (30 ft) and reads RAIN RFID (Passive UHF) tags within 13.7 metres (45 ft). For higher ceilings between 7.6m (25 ft) and 15.2m (50 ft), the CS-490 doubles the read range instantly.
