Our vertical portal range
Located primarily at dock doors and chokepoints, our vertical portals are ideal for tracking RTIs (Reusable Transport Items) like pallets, cages, boxes, and dollies—essentially any tall asset or handling unit carrying multiple labelled items.
They are placed either side of doors up to 5 metres wide and equipped with up to 8 antennas, providing a double-sided reading that guarantees no item is missed. Users are alerted immediately to incorrect items through optional in-built LED lights or via a touchscreen.

Overhead portals from BOWE IQ
Our overhead portals provide a highly accurate means of tracking assets without obstructing the flow of items below or taking up valuable floor space. With two antennas that can be positioned as required, they are particularly ideal for tracking cages and yorks. They also provide crucial information on usage and movement.
Through an in-built traffic light system, any incorrect items are detected in real time by means of a colour change in the panel above or by adding an optional floodlight that throws an unmissable warning light onto the floor area below.
Fixed and mobile tunnel scanners
Using RFID technology that can read up to 1000 tags per second, BOWE IQ’s tunnel scanners provide accurate real-time readings of the contents of boxes on conveyors. They are primarily used to check the accuracy of picks, to verify deliveries at the receiving dock, and to validate shipments—without the cost of manual scanning, human error, and inventory discrepancies. They can be fixed permanently around a conveyor or used as a mobile scanner on wheels.
